Jack’s Winning Words 1/7/21

“I have seen the 25th century.”  (Philip Nowgan)  As a new year begins, there are always forecasts of what lies ahead.  Predicting 1 year?.  Try looking ahead 500 years.  That’s what writer Nowgan did when he created the Buck Rogers comic strip in 1928.  NASA astronauts have almost compressed 500 years into 100.  Looking ahead, what do you see?  The Jetsons come to my mind.   A Bible verse says “Eye has not seen,…nor has it entered the mind of man what God has prepared.”   ;-)  Jack

FROM WILLMAR REV:  Hanging on tight to the Scriptures in all regard . . . what eye has seen, and ear has heard lately is not all that encouraging--  "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT)  0;-) ===JACK:  Do you think that God was present in yesterday's events in Washington, or did He have His hands full in other places?===REV:  Always "an ever-present help in trouble, our refuge and strength" . . . not hearing too many calling for it nowadays , , , thinking those folks over there feel they have all the answers . . . God, Grandpa, Grandma, Dad and Mom fast becoming old school . . . "Amen and Awomen" 0:-/
