Jack’s Winning Words 9/8/20
“Always desire to learn something useful.” (Sophocles)
I read that Sophocles choked to death while eating grapes. As a child, I
was taught by my parents: “Don’t talk with your mouth full.”
I’ve also benefitted from learning, “righty-tighty,
lefty-loosey!” Chances to learn don’t stop when we become adults.
My grandson showed me how to: find, cut, paste and send a computer image.
That’s been something useful. In what way has Sophocles influenced your
life? :-) Jack
