“Six faults ought to be avoided by someone seeking prosperity in this world: sleep, sloth, fear, anger, laziness and prolixity.” (Unknown) How are you doing on your quest for prosperity? I wonder what the word means. Do you know? There’s a city in South Carolina named, Prosperity. You could move there if you really want to live in prosperity. I’m practicing prolixity, so I must stop. ;-) Jack

DAZ REMINDED ME OF THIS QUOTE
President Herbert Hoover did not believe that the depression would last - "Prosperity is just around the corner" is what he said to businessmen in 1932 when things were just about at their worst. Squalid cardboard campsites were created in cities to live in...called "Hoovervilles". The nick-name of the soup given out by charities for the unemployed was "Hoover stew".
