WINNING WORDS 7/6/06
“Do what you love; the money will follow.” (Marsha Sinetar) M.S. is a popular motivational speaker who believes that we should be more creative and positive in choosing a direction for our life. The quote causes me to ask: What is money? I’m reminded of the song from Cabaret...Money, Money, Money. ;-) Jack

FROM CABARET.... Money makes the world go around The world go around The world go around Money makes the world go around It makes the world go 'round. A mark, a yen, a buck, or a pound A buck or a pound A buck or a pound Is all that makes the world go around, That clinking clanking sound Can make the world go 'round. Money money money money money money Money money money money money money Money money money money money money Money money. And then there's this line:
When you go to get a word of advice From the fat little pastor He will tell you to love evermore.

ANOTHER COMMENT ON MONEY On the hugely successful hit reality TV show The Apprentice, Donald Trump tells his contenders that location and pricing are supremely significant. But in his own life, there have been other maxims: Do whatever it takes to win. Don't spare the chutzpah. Always use the superlative. Make everything into an advertisement for yourself. Whatever happens, always claim victory. Following these personal commandments, he has turned bragging, self-inflation, and showing off into competitive advantages that have brought him national and international renown. (What do you think of The Donald?)

FROM THE BIBLE... The love of money is the root of all evils. (1 Timothy 6:10)

COMMENT FROM ED A...
How about the song from Evita?----"And the money kept rolling in " or the Fagan song from Oliver----

ROCKER SUGGESTS LOOKING AT PINK FLOYD'S "MONEY" SONG Money, its a crime. Share it fairly but don't take a slice of my pie. Money, so they say, Is the root of all evil today. But if you ask for a raise its no surprise that theyre Giving none away.

"Do what you love, the money will follow" is absolutely true. As an example, I love counterfeiting!
