Jack’s Winning Words 4/10/19
“If there be trouble let it be in my day that my children may have peace.”  (Thomas Paine)  The days after the American Revolution were not necessarily “glory” days.  Conflicting ideas on how to run the country; taxes had to be raised.  Some said that America’s on the road to anarchy.  War of 1812 was on the horizon.   Someone said, “Never have a son 18 yrs before the next war.”  Paine’s quote is on the minds of many new parents.  “Let there be peace on earth..”   ;-)  Jack
