Jack’s Winning Words 1/17/07
The winter ice storm knocked out my cable yesterday.
“If we had no winter, the spring would no be so pleasant. If we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would no be so welcome.” (Anne Bradstreet) We are in the midst of ice, snow and cold. While we have power, many others do not. Adversity comes in a variety of ways. I wish for springtime in your life. ;-) Jack

Glad to have you back, Pastor Freed. I confess of all the reasons that floated through my mind yesterday as to what happened to you and where were your Winning Words, the ice storm taking out your cable wasn't one of them. Knowing the real reason now is very pleasant and like a refreshing breeze coming through the computer. I was afraid you were ill or something. So logical that it would actually be the ice storm.
